As a dedicated mental health counselor and current Master of Arts candidate at Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies, Lisa specializes in co-occurring disorders. Her education emphasizes evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care, and has equipped her to provide integrated, client-centered treatment for individuals facing mental health challenges.
Lisa brings hands-on clinical experience facilitating group therapy sessions, managing individual caseloads, including sessions for each client meeting them where they were, and conducting assessments using Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th ed. (DSM-5) criteria. Her previous work includes coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams to address clients' diverse needs.
Guided by empathy and cultural awareness, she is committed to empowering clients on their path to wellness, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Her training and experience enable her to navigate the complexities of mental health, providing holistic support to foster lasting change.
