What is a Low Cost Counseling Session?

Here at AIM Counseling, we believe that mental health care should be accessible to everyone, not hidden behind a financial barrier. That’s why this year we launched our low cost counseling services! These are sessions that start as low as $30 an hour. But what do these sessions entail and are they different from their full price counterparts? That’s what we’re getting into today!

Who Conducts Low Cost Counseling Sessions?

All of our low cost counseling sessions are conducted by our wonderful team of interns. Our interns are all masters students getting their degrees in mental health fields. These sessions are shadowed by Ashlee, head counselor and founder of AIM, but the point of these sessions is for our interns to get clinical hours for their degree.

What Differs Between Low Cost and Full Cost Session?

Outside of who’s administering your care, almost nothing is different between the two! Our interns have been chosen because of their overlapping specialties with Ashlee. This means you can get help in all the same fields but with an intern instead!

Who Are Low Cost Sessions For?

There are no qualifications needed to book a low cost session. These limited number of spots are aimed to serve kids age ten and up, teens, adults, couples, and families.
